Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership with Mezhivsky Village Council

An important and relevant task of local councils is the approval of various programs of socio-economic development of territories under their jurisdiction. The competent creation and implementation of such programs is a marker of how the local authorities care about people and the development of territories.

On November 21, 2019, a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership was signed with Mezhivsky Village Council represented by the village head Zrazhevskyi Volodymyr Mykolaiovych.

Objectives of the memorandum:

  • implementation of business projects (construction of industrial solar power plants) on the territory of Mezhivsky rural territorial community, tax payments from which will be used to improve the socio-economic situation in the region;
  • partnership participation in the implementation of local programs aimed at the development of this territorial community;
  • assistance in the development and implementation of public projects aimed at improving the social conditions of the population of Mezhivsky rural territorial community.

Following the signing of MEMORANDUM the company EDS-Development took on an important socio-economic mission in the region:

  • improvement of the territory of Mezhivsky rural territorial community;
  • environmental protection through the rational use of natural resources;
  • creation of new jobs;
  • attraction of investments in this region;
  • implementation of programs approved by the village council by co-financing activities.

Practical experience of EDS group: “Project management in the energy company”

The project management level is the same asset of the company, as all the rest. Moreover, it is the experience of project management that is extremely valued in the world nowadays. By using simple solutions that do not require heavy expenses, a company building several large diverse projects at the same time can significantly increase their manageability and reduce costs.

How do we use Project Management?
In the field of PM management, the EDS group applies a multi-level control system for all company facilities. The construction is in process simultaneously in different parts of the country. In order to be able to control the process at any time, a visualization has been implemented that includes such elements:

  1. A system of high-resolution robotic cameras with a wide view angle at each facility.
  2. A work schedule at a cloud server with a defined basic work plan for all facilities.
  3. A system of daily reports on an internal resource (Internet portal) with photos and a completed document on the work performed (per day and cumulative).
  4. Internal logistics system for special construction tools Hilti.

From what we have yet to implement in the company – the use of Microsoft Power BI products, with which we will create monthly schedules for each of the facilities with the percentage completion. This system allows to present disparate design data in a clear view and convenient form for analytics.


What do we get from all these tools in total?
On the one hand, these are actually several degrees of control that the facility is realized as planned and without delay.
On the other hand, it is the visibility and transparency of the company in the eyes of customers. Win-Win in action.

Work at SPS “Volnogorsk 7 MW” completed by 67%

EDS-Group continues to build a new industrial solar power station on the territory of the Bykovsky village council of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Solar panels are actively mounted and they are switched into thongs on tables. The assembly of tables on the main field is almost completed, and landscaping and cleaning of the territory are being carried out in parallel.

The SPS project provides for:

  • 31836 photovoltaic panels HT 330 W;
  • 45 string inverters Huawei SUN2000-185KTL 175 kW each.

Specialists of the design department of the EMF developed a solution that makes it possible to use the 17.8 hectares allocated for the construction of solar power plants as efficiently as possible - the project provides for reducing the standard distance of 4.8 m between the rows of tables for solar panels to 4.33 m.

 

The new Volnogorsk 7 MW solar power plant will begin generation by the end of 2019.

EDS-Group continues the construction of the SES "Aleksandrovka" with a capacity of 8.19 megawatts in Belozersky district, 45 km from Kherson.

Electricity will be generated by panels new to Ukraine BIFACIAL Mono PERC with double glass module 325 Вт JAM60D09 305-325 / BPhaving enhanced performance characteristics.

  • Excellent low light performance;
  • Excellent performance depending on temperature;
  • 3% ~ 15% more energy production;
  • Low LCOE; 
  • Annual degradation of 0.5% over 30 years.

In our case of ground fasteners, light will naturally reflect off the ground (especially in winter, when the modules benefit from the white surface of the earth due to snowfall).

A unique solution for mounting panels on tables for the future SES was developed by the team of designers of the EDS group:

The panels have excellent characteristics (earlier turning on and turning off later allows you to increase productivity), for our country they are still rare. There was a problem how to fix these panels on tables. Existing technologies - clamps - are almost impossible to find in Ukraine, they are produced only in China, and this did not satisfy us in terms of delivery. The solution was found by a team of EMF designers, who specifically developed a clamp for this project.

The solar power station will be commissioned before the end of November 2019.
